It describes how Silkroad actually works today, which is why it is published rather than hidden. It is not legal advice and is not the final wording. Silkroad will not take a real payment under an unapproved document — checkout refuses one.
What is stored
A session cookie, so that you stay signed in and so that a checkout you started can be returned to. It is strictly necessary: without it, buying a ticket does not work.
A CSRF token, which exists to stop another site submitting a form as you.
Your cart, which is kept in your own browser rather than on a server until you check out.
What is not stored
There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
Where product analytics are enabled, they are configured to exclude authenticated, checkout, ticket and staff pages, and dynamic parts of a URL are removed before anything is sent.
