What is collected when you buy a ticket, and who it reaches.

It describes how Silkroad actually works today, which is why it is published rather than hidden. It is not legal advice and is not the final wording. Silkroad will not take a real payment under an unapproved document — checkout refuses one.
What is collected
To sell you a ticket: your email address, what you bought, and the payment result. Card details are entered on Stripe’s payment page and are never sent to or stored by Silkroad.
If you are admitted at a door, the fact and time of that admission.
Who it reaches
The organizer of the event you bought from, because they are the seller and have to be able to run the event and answer you about it.
Stripe, to take the payment. Our email provider, to send your tickets and the transactional messages about your order.
Silkroad does not sell personal data and does not share it for advertising.
Marketing
Marketing email is opt-in and separate from the transactional messages about your order, which you receive because they are part of the purchase. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time from the link in any marketing message or from your account settings.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, subject to records we are required to keep for accounting and dispute purposes.
Where the data controller is named, the retention periods stated and the supervisory authority identified, those facts follow from the incorporation and have not been established yet.
Silkroad is being incorporated in Ireland. Until that is complete there is no registered company name, company number, registered office or VAT number to state here, and none is invented in their place. This section will be completed from the incorporation record.
